Tyne Bank Brewery is an independent Newcastle brewery on Walker Road in Byker, on the eastern edge of the Ouseburn and a short walk from Hoults Yard. Brewing is still the heart of the operation, and the brewery runs tours on Saturdays that take in a little of its history and the brewing process before moving on to a tutored tasting. It is around ten minutes from the city centre and, unusually for a venue this close in, has free parking on site.

The building doubles as one of the larger event spaces in the east of the city: a converted industrial warehouse with high ceilings, exposed brickwork, a disco ball canopy overhead, an in-house PA system and an outdoor terrace, all on one level and fully accessible. The brewery quotes a range of 70 to 300 guests and hires the space for weddings, birthdays and anniversaries as well as corporate functions, conferences, product launches and team days. Catering comes through flexible partners, spanning street-food grazing through to three-course dinners, with bespoke cocktails available alongside the brewery's own beer. Venue-hire enquiries go to the events team during office hours.
