Michael Frayn's Noises Off, often called the funniest farce ever written, follows a hapless touring company as its production collapses into chaos, complete with slamming doors, falling trousers and flying sardines. The People's Theatre company takes on this technically demanding comedy. Performances run nightly from 17 to 21 November 2026 at 7.30pm at the theatre on Stephenson Road, Heaton. Tickets are booked online, with concessions available.
