The Fitness Fraternity is an independent 24-hour strength and bodybuilding gym on Heaton Road. Established in 2021, it deliberately embraces an old-school, retro aesthetic, setting itself apart from what it calls clinical, boring commercial gyms, and draws on decades of bodybuilding expertise. The gym operates around the clock, giving members flexible year-round access.

Its equipment is geared to serious strength training, with professional-grade machines from Cybex, Panatta and Gym 80 alongside barbells and free weights. Beyond the gym floor, it offers personal training, group classes including Hyrox-style sessions and kickboxing, coaching support through a member app and WhatsApp, and physical therapy services on site. This focus on strength, bodybuilding and powerlifting, combined with a strong community ethos, makes it a distinctive alternative to Heaton's mainstream fitness options.
