About This Event

Blind Yeo are a Cornwall-based psych-folk band led by Will Greenham, formed during lockdown and honed through a 2022 residency in Falmouth. Their sound blends motorik beats, folk traditions and electronic textures, heard on the EPs Echoes and Anam Cara. Rapasa Nyatrapasa Otieno is a Kenyan singer, songwriter and multi-instrumentalist and a virtuoso of the nyatiti, an eight-string lyre, drawing on the storytelling traditions of the Luo community. He previews new work made during a residency at Cobalt that week. As with every Fresh Thursday, a home-cooked plant-based dinner is included with advance tickets, capped at 60 meals. Music usually starts about an hour after doors.
