Around 30 artists' studios across five floors of the original Ouseburn studio building open to the public, with work to buy, demonstrations and workshops.
About This Event
Artists, jewellers, ceramicists, musicians and designers open their studios across five floors of 36 Lime Street, the Grade II listed building that has housed Ouseburn makers since 1994. Visitors can see new work, buy or commission handmade pieces and watch live demonstrations and performances. Highlights include a raffle for bespoke art pieces, a Rangoli activity with Jayamini De Silva in Studio 5D, a free drop-in paper chain activity with Theresa Easton in Studio 2B, and live original piano music from resident musician Steve Luck. The weekend is part of Ouseburn Open Studios, with venues including B.Box Studios, Biscuit Tin Studios, Northern Print, The Biscuit Factory and The NewBridge Project also taking part. Entry is free.
