Heaton Community Centre Childcare is the day nursery run from the Heaton Community Centre complex on Trewhitt Road, at the heart of Heaton in east Newcastle. It is part of the centre's wider work as a charitable incorporated organisation, and childcare sits alongside room hire, community groups and other family services under one roof. The setting delivers the Early Years Foundation Stage in a way led by children's interests and individual development, and forms part of the local network of family support, historically linked to Sure Start services in east Newcastle.

The nursery offers full day care for young children, complemented by an out-of-school club with a holiday playscheme and onsite and offsite crèche provision, so families can find wraparound care in one place.
