Welcome to Heaton.live — a free, independent community hub for east Newcastle. We cover Heaton, the Ouseburn valley, Byker and Sandyford: the streets of Tyneside flats above the Ouseburn, the independent high street on Chillingham Road, and the reborn cultural quarter in the valley below.

Heaton.live isn't run by the council, an estate agent, or a commercial directory. It's a community information site, and it's completely free to use. We're just getting started — the directory and guides will grow steadily over the coming weeks.
