Tipple in the Tunnel: Halloween Edition
A Halloween-themed evening combining a short tour of the Victoria Tunnel with a sommelier-led wine tasting underground.
About This Event
The Ouseburn Trust's Tipple in the Tunnel starts with a drink at the bar of Hotel du Vin before a short tour of the Victoria Tunnel, the 19th-century wagonway that ran under the city and later served as an air-raid shelter. Once underground, a sommelier leads a tasting of three wines from around the world, finishing with a blind tasting. This date is the special Halloween edition of the regular strand. Tickets are £35 and are booked through the Ouseburn Trust ticket site; private group tipples can also be arranged.
