Eleanor of Aquitaine, a former queen turned prisoner, joins King Henry II and their sons in a dangerous game of power, manipulation and deception. James Goldman's play is billed here as sibling rivalry, adultery and dungeons in a sharp, darkly funny modern classic. Performances run nightly at 7.30pm from 23 to 28 November 2026 at the theatre on Stephenson Road, Heaton.
