A weekend marking 50 years since Rowley Station opened at Beamish, with choir performances, decorations and poetry readings (25-26 July).
About This Event
Beamish celebrates half a century since Rowley Station became the first relocated building to open at the museum, back in 1976. The weekend features music from the Ashington & District Male Voice Choir, period decorations at the station and readings of winning poems written for the anniversary. The celebrations run across Saturday 25 and Sunday 26 July and are included with normal museum admission.
