About This Event

This year's half-term theme at Beamish is Beyond Coal. Through the week there are special cinema showings, children's mining banner workshops, rapper sword dancing and energy-themed quizzes and activities, mostly based around the 1900s Pit Village, plus an EDAN art exhibition in the Pit Village school from 26 October. Note that the drift mine is closed.
