Beginner's Fungi Foray in the Ouse Burn Valley
A free, informal woodland walk to find and identify fungi, led by NHSN's Ouse Burn naturalist James Common.
About This Event
No experience is needed for this exploratory walk through the woods of the Ouse Burn valley, where the group uses identification apps, field guides and discussion to name and record the fungi it finds for the Ouse Burn Way project. Meet on top of Armstrong Bridge rather than at the location Eventbrite suggests, and arrive early as the group sets off five minutes after the start. Wear sturdy footwear and dress for the weather.
