Mercury Prize-nominated singer-songwriter Nadine Shah returns to the North East for a special BBC Proms performance alongside the Royal Northern Sinfonia at The Glasshouse. Raised in Whitburn near South Shields, Shah is known for her richly theatrical, politically charged art-rock, spanning acclaimed albums from Fast Food to Kitchen Sink and Filthy Underneath. This late-evening Prom pairs her distinctive voice with the region's world-class orchestra for a one-off orchestral reimagining of her songbook. A rare chance to hear one of the North East's most singular artists in a fully symphonic setting.
